April in New Zealand and the weather is starting to drop, and we are out looking to purchase the woollies (warm woollen clothing) ready to embrace winter.
Nelson, Napier and Lake Tekapo are still receiving a good number of daylight hours. April can also be very mixed with some quite beautiful days but also extended periods of rain. As previously mentioned, remember to dress in layers and be prepared for whatever weather may eventuate.
